The route to the mountain resort of Divčibare leads through the beautiful slopes of Maljen. We start from the very center, from the town square in Požega. We continue along the Skrapež River to the crossroads in Čestobrodica. After turning right, the climb gradually becomes more demanding with more serious slopes. After turning right, the climb gradually becomes more demanding with steeper slopes. We pass the turnoff for Dobrinja and continue towards Velika Ježevica, where mountain landscapes and the authentic ambience of mountain villages can already be seen. The climb becomes more and more steep, and the first pass is only at the Church of the Holy Trinity in Duškovci, after 22 km from Požega. The views become more open, the landscapes more picturesque, and even though you are traveling on the main, regional road, there is not much traffic, so you will be able to enjoy the peace, quiet, and mountain scents.

The last and most demanding climb starts from the shore of Crna Kamenica in Tometino Polje. It is a real, mountainous climb, 8 km long, mostly through coniferous forests, with several open views of the entire expanse of Malje, all the way to the dominant Ovčar and Kablar. The climb is long and strenuous, yet the crisp air and the scent of conifers give you extra motivation to conquer the highest pass! There’s still a short descent to the Divčibare mountain center. There are no bicycle signs on the route, but as you follow the main road, you will find your way easily. As always, we recommend downloading the .gpx file.
