Požega is a busy place, most of the bus lines on the route Montenegro – Serbia and Serbia – Bosnia and Herzegovina go through Požega. Every 15 minutes to half an hour there is a local bus line with the surrounding cities, and every half an hour to an hour there is a line to Belgrade, Novi Sad, Zlatibor, Čačak, while there is a regular line Požega-Sarajevo. Part of the Belgrade-Bar railway passes through Požega, and it is a very important railway hub, because it is where the branch to Čačak, Kraljevo and Niš departs. Trains to Belgrade (via Valjevo) and to Montenegro (Bar via Podgorica) run every five hours.
